Although the first electric vehicle began to be produced in 1834, interest in eco-driving technologies increased with climate change legislation in California during the 1990s. Since then, industrial and academic efforts related to eco-driving technology have progressed.

For gasoline and diesel vehicle users to abandon their established habits and adopt this new form of use, it is crucial to communicate the advantages offered by eco-driving technology properly. A collective corporate identity is needed for non-profit organizations to introduce the concept to users.

At this point, it is evident that the eco-driving experience has not been emphasized successfully enough, partly due to unresolved infrastructure issues. Therefore, a corporate identity is necessary for non-profit organizations to convey the concept more effectively to potential users.

Eco-driving stands out due to its ability to provide energy efficiency and sustainability while emerging as a rising advancement in the automotive industry. Thanks to the technology, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted and fuel consumed by drivers during their journeys is significantly reduced.

As one of the options sensitive to global warming concerns emphasized by the Paris Agreement, the technology aims to reduce carbon emissions through enhanced control over vehicle dynamics. This, in turn, improves both the vehicle's condition and fuel consumption.

Özellikle Paris Anlaşmasının odaklandığı küresel ısınmaya ilişkin endişelere duyarlı seçeneklerden eko-sürüş teknolojisi, araç dinamikleri üzerindeki kontrolü sayesinde karbon salınımını düşürmeyi hedefliyor. Böylece araçların hem kondisyonu hem de yakıt tüketim miktarı iyileştirilebiliyor.

Proje logosunun, uygulamanın kolaylaştırmayı hedeflediği üç seyahat aşaması olan planlama, hareket ve yeni keşifleri işaret etmesi amacıyla tasarlandı.


J harfi, yolculukların hareket safhasını belirtmesi amacıyla kıvrılmış biçimde kullanıldı ve harfin çentiğine hareket safhasının dinamizmini çağrıştıran ok başı yerleştirildi.


Tepeye konumlanan piramidin, projeni kullanıcılara sunduğu keşif imkanlarına işaret etmesi amaçlandı. Negatif boşlukta beliren onay işareti ise projenin kolaylaştırdığı planlama aşamasını temsil ediyor.

Projenin kullanımı sırasında hem logo hem de metin boyutları için 1.2 büyüme oranına sahip Minor Third ölçeği tercih edildi. Bu sayede görsel hiyerarşide denge sorunlarına sebep olabilecek oran farklılıklarının engellenmesi amaçlandı. Tüm metinlerde Manrope yazı tipi tercih edildi.

I applied a 1.2 scale ratio (the Minor Third scale) for both logo and text applications. This approach ensures a balanced visual hierarchy and prevents proportional inconsistencies. Manrope was used across all text elements.

Eko-sürüş konseptinin kurumsal kimlik tasarımında (birincil ve nötral olmak üzere) iki adet renk paleti kullanıldı. Seçilen renk tonlarının HSB (Renk Tonu, Doygunluk, Parlaklık) ölçeğinde yüksek doygunluk ve parlaklık değerleri alması, projenin dikkat çekici tarafını öne çıkardı.

Tools and resources

Adobe Firefly is one of the Gen-AI tools used to generate images from text prompts. I used Adobe Firefly to create alternative ideas for visuals embedded in logos and posters.

Adobe Photoshop was used to arrange the posters' layout and customize mockup templates during the corporate identity applications.

ChatGPT was used during the brand identity development process, especially to verify the titles and texts I wrote for project scope control and to get suggestions for color palettes.

Figma was extensively used, even though no user interface design was included in the project. Besides poster and logo designs, I also prepared the project's portfolio presentation here.

Google Fonts' Manrope was the only typeface used in this brand identity project. I applied the Minor Third typographic scale with a 1.2 growth ratio for the texts.

LovePik is one of the stock photo repositories I used in the project. The flying leaves in the poster promoting the eco-driving project were sourced from there.

Microsoft Bing's AI-powered text-to-image generation service was utilized for idea development and creating the visual I used during the poster design.

Typescale is an online service that ensures proportional text sizing for various applications. I benefited from Typescale when determining the project's typographic scale and text sizes.
